As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we are able to offer a full range of accredited workplace training, business and computer courses in partnership with DLA. DLA has been offering quality online vocational training since 2000, with the philosophy that “any learning program is first and foremost about people”.
On successful completion of one of these courses you will receive a qualification that is recognized nationally by employers and other colleges – a certificate qualification for a full certificate course, or a statement of attainment for a short course or individual unit. Your qualification will be issued by MBTC (a division of Macquarie Community College) as the RTO.
When you enrol in one of the DLA courses, you will receive a user name and password to enter your online course as soon as your enrolment is processed. During your study contact is by phone and email, with unlimited support available from your trainer. The estimated time frame for courses is based on four weeks per unit at 4-6 hours per week, however you can complete as quickly as you wish and in most cases an extension can be arranged by asking for more time before the finish date given to you.Participants may have the opportunity to attend a virtual classroom during their study. This will apply to those who enrol in full certificate courses, and anyone who enrols in TAAASS404A, the validation unit where they will carry out a validation. DLA anticipates organising virtual classes so that participants can attend at least once during their course. Participation will be optional and a person can still achieve their goals if technologies prevent them from participating in activities requiring higher levels of technology (eg broadband and internet requirements).
Full and short certificate courses are available in addition to a wide selection of individual modules.
