Enrolment conditions

Who can enrol?

Generally no experience or qualifications are required (unless specified), just the desire to learn in a relaxed environment. Anyone aged 15 years and over may enrol (some special classes are run for younger students). There is no upper age limit. The College has the right to refuse an enrolment due to safety reasons.

Children

Children are not permitted to attend classes with parents. Parents are asked to make alternative arrangements for childcare where necessary.

Refunds and cancellations

If the College cancels a course you will receive a full refund of your course fees. Refunds will be provided by cheque.

No other refunds will be given unless you provide five working days or more notice prior to course commencement. A fee of $10 per enrolment will be charged for processing refunds. The College cannot accept responsibility for changes in work or personal circumstances which may prevent attendance.

The College is not responsible for any outlays made by students for books or materials.

Transfers

You may transfer to another class provided there are spaces available, it is in the same term and five working days notice is given before the course commences.

Concessions

Due to funding cuts by the State Government, we can no longer offer a concession rate to Seniors Cardholders. A 15% discount is available to people on a full government pension on courses marked with the concession symbol. When applying for this rate, pensioners will need to show proof of pension. Please note concessions cannot be claimed after enrolment.

Confirmation & Receipts

Online enrolments will receive a confirmation letter/receipt will via email. Please call us if you do not receive a confirmation letter.

Certificates

A Certificate of Attendance is automatically issued for all computer and business courses, on completion of the course. A Certificate or Statement of Attainment is issued to those students who successfully complete a VETAB accredited course. For other courses a $10 fee will apply for certificates of attendance issued upon request.

Course details

The college reserves the right to change the advertised course details should the need arise or to refuse any enrolment as permitted by law. Please note this is a course guide only. It does not provide a fully comprehensive description of all courses.
