Bushwalk 1 - Wyrrabalong Forest & Wildflower Walk

Wyrrabalong National Park on the Central Coast is home to an array of native wildflowers with the area boasting, warm temperate rainforests and sub-tropical rainforests. They contain a wide range of species including cabbage tree palms, tuckeroos, hard corkwood, bangalay and the rare and endangered magenta lillypilly. This walk also gives you stunning views of Tuggerah Lake, the coast and Norah Head Lighthouse. This area is built on sand dunes which date back millions of years. These rise to more than 40 metres above sea level and form an isthmus between Tuggerah Lake and the ocean. The park with its high-water table supports swamp forest along with endangered littoral rainforest.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

Macquarie Community College also operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Carlingford, Chatswood, Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Richmond and many more. Enrol today or enquire now!
