Bushwalk 4 – Walls Cave & The Grand Canyon – Sunday 29th March, 2020 – Sydney Course

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. You can book each bushwalk individually or book the 'Bushwalking – Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package' which includes all four bushwalks at a discounted price.

Bushwalk 4 – Walls Cave & The Grand Canyon: Some of the most outstanding scenic features of the Blue Mountains are the Deep Canyons, although most are remote and very difficult to negotiate. The Grand Canyon, near Blackheath, is one of the few that is easily accessible with only medium grades. The Grand Canyon offers spectacular views of narrow chasms 30 metres deep and only a couple of meters wide right beside the track. You can expect to see many waterfalls, moss covered overhangs and giant ferns as you pass through a lush rainforest with a canopy of coachwoods and various plant life. This is definitely a walk not to be missed. If time permits our walk will take in a couple of side trips that may include Beauchamp Falls and a walk through one of the canyon’s deep chasms.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

Macquarie Community College also operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Carlingford, Chatswood, Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Richmond and many more. Enrol online today or call us to have a chat about your options.
