We offer training in face to face and/or online learning formats.

  • Please see scheduled class for delivery format.
  • Online classes delivered via livestream video over Zoom.

Learn how to create beautiful Celtic Art using knots and spiral patterns. Celtic Knots are graphical loops that appear to have no start or finish. Celtic Spirals are a drawing of interlocked spirals that flow into each other.

In this Calligraphy Celtic Art - Knots & Spirals Intertwine course, we start with basic methods of drawing knots and spiral patterns using proven step-by-step methods. Then you will learn to draw them within different shapes, followed by learning how to layer the patterns. We finish with how to connect the spiral patterns into knotwork pathways to become a flowing and intricate design. Colour & painting techniques are also discussed and demonstrated.

This course is great for beginners and continuing students. No prior calligraphy or drawing experience is needed. This is a fun and interactive class where you will see your patterns come to life!
