Uncial Calligraphy for Beginners, will take you step-by-step through the techniques of writing beautiful rounded letterforms that can be used for your favourite quotes, special messages for a loved one, to pen a greeting card, to embellish your scrapbooking or to write your own invitations.

These modern Uncial letterforms are based on 5th century Christian manuscripts.

You will be guided through a small project to create your own piece of calligraphic art, embellished with touches of colour.

By the end of this course, you will know how to use a 30 degree pen angle with double pencils and a chisel edge nib, how to construct Uncial letters with pen & ink, how to understand letter spacing, how to apply colour to embellish your calligraphy and more.
