Ceramic Art Painting – Introduction – Sydney Course

In this Introduction to Ceramic Art Painting Workshop you will learn to decorate and paint your own ceramic platter using a variety of ceramic painting tools and techniques.

Unleash your inner creative self and have loads of fun doing it! Design and paint a platter that will be functional, useable, food safe and microwave safe as well as being a wonderful gift or keepsake.

Your finished artwork will be fired and glazed and ready for collection within 2 weeks of the workshop.

No previous painting or drawing experience is required.

Course Outline

In this course you will learn:

  • Ceramic painting techniques
  • Properties of underglaze (ceramic paint)
  • How to use underglaze
  • How to decorate and paint your own ceramic platter
  • To be able to unleash your inner creative self
  • Relax and have fun

What to bring

Please bring a:

  • Pen and notepad
  • Photo of a design you would like to copy (optional)

All materials, tools and aprons will be provided.
