Your Own Goals Await – Yoga pulls back life space with simple, graceful, invigorating movement combined with breath. Let your body dictate how you feel through gentle movement designed around your special modifications and body preferences.

Course Outline

In this course you can learn:

Course Outcome

This training yoga session builds on your physical and mental coping mechanisms from the inside out. Movements flow from modified to dynamic for all body types and minor physical limitations. Tension is released, the body/mind soothed and central strength enhanced through physical awareness of postural alignment and relaxation.

Important Information

This course is not designed with pregnancy in mind as specific movement and health considerations are needed at this special time.

Prerequisite: Desirable

No prior experience of yoga is needed. You will be asked to complete a general health questionnaire on the first night.

Delivery Mode

The body needs gentle warm-up activations before the Energy Block Releases spread warmth in the muscles and the movement of energy to flow smoothly through the body. Breathing within this flow is taught but every person is different and students should breathe to their own capacity and breath rhythm. The body preparations and postures are sometimes within the activations and Energy Block Release movements. Throughout the term, you will come to understand the purpose and benefit of stretching and strengthening exercises. Relaxation draws the benefits of movement and breath into the body.
