Exploring Watercolours – One Day Workshop – Sydney Course

Spend a day learning some essential watercolour painting techniques, plus a few fun tricks, through a series of exercises and small paintings.

If you have been given a set of watercolours and don’t know where to start, this will help you see the magic that can happen when you put water brush and paint together! If you have been painting for a while and wish to clarify some techniques, this will be a day to inspire and equip you further.

You will learn step by step exercises in laying washes and glazes, blending colours on the page, reserving highlights, and brushwork techniques. By the end of the workshop, you will have completed several small watercolour studies, and a larger piece.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Mt Druitt, Richmond and Ryde. Enrol today or enquire now!
