Introduction to Golf – Sydney Course

If you are new to the game of golf or want to learn the basic fundamentals, then this ‘Introduction to Golf’ course is perfect for you. Our PGA Professional Golf Coach will teach you all the essentials about golf to give you the confidence to take to the greens yourself.

You will learn about each of the different golf clubs, understand which golf clubs to use for different situations as well as golf etiquette in the club and on the greens. You will also learn how to chip, pitch, drive and putt on the golf course.

This course suitable for the complete beginner who wants to learn practical and basic golf skills to help them be successful on the golf course.

In this course you will learn:

  • Driving
  • Chipping/Pitching
  • Putting
  • Golf etiquette
  • Taking to the course

Course Outcome

At the end of the course, you will feel confident to play your own game of golf on the golf course. You will have developed great introductory skills that you can build onto for the future.

What to bring

Please bring a:

  • sunscreen/hat
  • all equipment provided
  • If you have your own clubs please bring them with you
  • Dress code applies – no denim/track gear

Important Information

  • The course will be held on an 18 hole championship course.
  • PGA professional coaching is provided
  • There is an indoor option if it rains


This level is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior knowledge of golf.
Some flexibility and body movement is required for the course.
