Italian Cooking – Sydney Course

Learn the secrets that make Italian food so special! This hands-on cooking course will inspire you as you discover the many flavours and ingredients used in traditional Italian cooking. Enjoy creating a great range of delicious and authentic entrees, mains and desserts. At the end of each class, you will be able to enjoy a 2 course sit down meal of what you have just cooked.

Our teacher, Antonella, also loves to share her preparation, cooking and presentation tips. All ingredients and recipes will be supplied.

Course Outline

In this course you will learn:

  • The simple but important ingredients used in Italian cooking
  • Step by step tuition on making delicious Italian dishes
  • Secrets and tips throughout the class e.g. How to make a good risotto, salad, pasta etc.
  • Guidance on correct workflow when cooking and/or entertaining
  • A snapshot on the background of Italian food and its regions

Course Outcome

At the end of this course you will feel confident & inspired to cook a great variety of delicious Italian entrees, mains and desserts for yourself, family and friends. You will learn to achieve excellent flavours and make impressive dishes without it being too complex or difficult.

What to Bring

Please bring:

  • Tea towel
  • Apron
  • Your own knife (if preferred)
  • Container (in case there are any leftovers)

Delivery Mode

Classes will be held in a kitchen. Each class will commence with a combination of demonstrations and step by step guidance for each recipe. Students will work in small groups to make the dishes for the night, before sitting down and enjoying them together.
