Get Gut Healthy with Kombucha – Sydney Course
Kombucha is a beverage that has been around for many centuries and is seeing a revival in popularity. It is a refreshing drink made from tea, sugar and the addition of a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast).
It’s distinctive fruity-vinegary taste is from its fermentation processes and the addition of fruit in the second fermentation phase. Fermented foods have long been associated with improving your gut health, which can also improve other bodily functions which affect your weight, food cravings and mood.
Kombucha is now readily available in many shops and cafes, however, may include additional sugars. By learning to make your own Kombucha at home, you can minimise expense, the amount of sugar and also create your own unique flavour combinations.
By the end of this Kombucha workshop, you will have an understanding of the benefits of drinking Kombucha and how to make your own. You will learn all about preparation, creation, storage and clean up of your Kombucha as well as where to source good ingredients, including organic options.
Macquarie Community College also operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Carlingford, Eastwood, Chatswood, Blacktown, Richmond and many more. Enrol online today or call us to have a chat about your options.
