Marketing Skills for Small Business Starter Session - Sydney Course

This Marketing Skills for Small Business Starter Session is an introductory workshop to give you the basics on how to create a marketing plan.

It is ideal for those who are interested in starting a business and are not sure where to start or have started and need to get it back on track.

This course provides you with DIY foundation skills to determine your niche market, identify your ideal customer and how to market your idea to them.

During the workshop we will look at your business foundation or purpose and who are you ideal clients. We will then draft ideas on how to market to them.

This workshop will give you the foundation to develop a marketing and business strategy that will engage your ideal clients and help you to grow your business.

Students are encouraged to further develop their design skills by attending the Marketing Skills for Small Business short course after this starter session.

Course Outline

In this workshop you willl learn:

  • Launch your business – fundamental skills for those that are at ground zero
  • Business and marketing assessment to see the status quo of your business to determine the way forward
  • Business goals map
  • Visual business plan
  • Determine your niche market
  • Build a profile of your ideal client/customer
  • How to connect and communicate with your ideal client/customer

Course Outcome

By the completion of this workshop you will have the starting point for your business and brand with a draft blueprint to implement your marketing and sales strategies. You will also be part of a Facebook community with your fellow students to share ideas and learn how to develop your networking and sales skills.
