Marketing Skills for Small Businesses – Sydney Course

This course is ideal if you are interested in starting a creative business and are not sure where to start or have started and need to get it on track.

This course provides you with DIY skills to create a creative business plan, determine your niche target market, identify your ideal customer and how to market your idea to them.

During the course, you will develop a marketing plan, including a basic social media plan and content schedule. You will develop marketing materials such as flyers, ebooks and checklists to support your promotional plan. We will also review your current website, website copy and imagery to ensure it is effective and targeted. You will be introduced to basic design skills using industry standard software or online tools to ensure you have control over the presentation of your brand.

When you have completed your brand basics, you then will get to work on your sales skills and devise your sales strategy and sales pitch to bring in revenue for your business.

By the end of the course, you will have a solid business and brand foundation with a blueprint to implement your marketing and sales strategies. You will have basic design skills to create your own marketing materials. You will also be invited to be part of a Facebook community with your fellow students to share ideas and learn how to develop your networking and sales skills.
