MYOB for Work or Business takes you through the basics of MYOB required for small business bookkeeping or assists you in working with accounts. You will undertake a variety of tasks in MYOB such as below and learn how to complete the day to day accounting requirements of a simple small business, including how to process accounts, payroll and manage a general ledger using MYOB.

Prerequisite: Essential

  • There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however basic computer literacy is required.

Prerequisite: Desirable

You will need to have the language, literacy and numeracy skills that allow you to read and interpret information, and prepare documents. Some basic knowledge of accounts practices are also an advantage.

MYOB for Work or Business is classroom based. Engaging trainers will take you through the course material face to face.

Assessment includes a number of practical activities and is only required for those wishing to receive a Statement of Attainment.

What Can I Study Next?

At the completion of this program you can move on to advanced courses in MYOB to gain more complex skills, or other basic or intermediate courses covering computer applications such as Word, Outlook or Excel. This unit can be used toward a Certificate III in Business Administration or other qualifications.
