Planes: Tuning and Using – Sydney Course
This course builds on the previous Sharpening Edge Tools course. All types of hand planes will be considered. Participants will disassemble a plane, clean the parts and reassemble the plane. Next, the base of the plane will be flattened. Finally, the blade will be sharpened to “cut any wood”. The presenter’s reward is the plane owner’s smile as each plane removes a perfect shaving.
