Crochet – Summer Shawl – Sydney Course

Learn how to use basic crochet stitches to make a beautiful and personalised summer shawl.

In this course, you will learn how to read a pattern, follow a diagram and work on a repeat pattern. This course is suitable for those who have done the Beginners Crochet course or know how to basic crochet.

Course Outline

In this course you will:

  • revisit basic crochet stitches
  • use crochet to make a shawl
  • learn more about tension
  • learn to follow a diagram
  • learn to follow a pattern

Course Outcome

At the end of the session, you will have almost finished your piece. You will leave with a sound understanding of the pattern and be confident to continue and finish the project, plus be able to attempt this at home.

  • Pen and notepad
  • crochet hook set

Prerequisite

This course is suitable for those who know how to chain in Crochet, make a single crochet and double crochet.
