Do you have a bad habit that feels like an unwelcoming companion by your side? Are your bad habits draining your life from your dreams? If you are feeling out of balance it may be that you have allowed your habits to energetically define your life.

A bad habit is a negative behaviour pattern. Bad habits are not easy to break, especially if you find them enjoyable, but it is possible.

Bad habits may be anything from:

  • Chain smoking
  • Obsessively watching TV, using social media, playing video games or using the computer
  • Nail biting
  • Emotional eating
  • and many more

If you are looking to break out of a bad habit, then this course is for you! We will help you identify your bad habit(s) and give you proven strategies to help you break the habit for good! We will help you form new and better habits to replace the bad ones.

Remote learning for this course is at scheduled class times and sessions. It could include:

  • Livestream video classes online;
  • Interaction with your tutor and other students during livestream video sessions;
  • Group exercises, group discussion, reading dialogue, written exercises, and games to practice new learned skills in an enjoyable way.

Course Outline

In this workshop you will:

  • Identify your bad habit or habits
  • Identify why you want to change
  • What are the upsides and downsides of continuing the behaviour
  • Creating awareness of when, where, why and how you engage in your bad habits
  • Replace the bad habit/behaviour with another activity
  • Learn strategies to help you plan and focus on the solution not the problem.

Course Outcome

By the end of the workshop you will:

  • Have a deeper understanding of your bad habits/behaviour
  • Understand what triggers your bad habits/behaviours
  • Consequences of bad habits
  • Creating awareness of when, where, why and how you engage in your bad habits
  • Form better new habits by replacing the bad habit/behaviour with another activity

  • Notepad and pen
  • Open mind that is ready and willing to make a change

Prerequisite

This level is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior knowledge.
