Stress Management for Small Business Owners – Sydney Course

The Small Business Owner needs to have the endurance of an Olympic Triathlon athlete, the mental agility of a world class chess player, the fortitude of a heavy weight boxing champion whilst simultaneously maintaining a sense of self-belief that allows them to undergo the most challenging of search and rescue missions … all before their morning cup of coffee!

This course is for Small Business Owners who need to learn strategies for countering the negative impact of stress in both their work and private lives. Understanding the Relaxation Response, the antidote to the harmful effects of prolonged periods of time in the Fight-Flight-Freeze Response, will be a central component of the course.

Practical meditation and mindfulness techniques that can effortlessly slide into your busy working day are explored in this course. These techniques are backed by scientific evidence.

Potential benefits of practising Meditation and Mindfulness may include: greater focus and clarity of thought; enhanced creativity; improved communication; better decision making and an overall improvement in your physical and emotional wellbeing.

Strategies for identifying and addressing the stressors that impact on your ability to perform at your best in your business are identified and solutions will be addressed.

Many of the activities are workshopped to benefit from the input of the group and learning takes place in a supportive and enjoyable space.

The program adopts a holistic method to self care regimes that will enable you to perform at the top of your game and includes tools employed by positive psychology such as gratitude that will help you experience a greater sense of passion and joy in your working life.
