This Tech Savvy Seniors – Windows 7 to Windows 10 Upgrade Options course is aimed for anyone who is considering upgrading their old Windows PC or laptop to Windows 10.

Course Outline

In this course, we will look at the following:

  • What does it mean that Windows 7 will be ‘unsupported’?
  • What are the risks of running Windows 7 and below unsupported?
  • Why upgrade to Windows 10 (or at least away from Windows 7)?
  • Take into consideration the size of your existing Windows PC or laptop
  • How big a PC is required to run Windows 10
  • Whether it is better to upgrade your PC or laptop or buy a new Windows 10 PC or laptop
  • What alternatives are there to simply upgrading to Windows 10?
  • How to create a migration path

Course Outcome

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Identify which Windows operating system you are currently running
  • Know whether you want to upgrade
  • Understand the upgrade options
