BSBITU102 Develop Keyboard Skills – Sydney Course

Do you need to develop keyboard skills? Whether it be for personal or work use our Introduction to Develop Keyboard Skills course introduces you to the skills and knowledge required to develop basic keyboard skills using touch typing techniques in a broad range of settings.
You will be able to identify and apply touch typing techniques that will assist you with a variety of digital literacy skills for work, study and/or your own personal development.

This Develop Keyboard Skills course is aligned with units of competency found in the BSB20115 Certificate II in Business – Business and Computer Basics course.

Prerequisite: Desirable

You will need to have language, literacy and numeracy skills that allow you to read and interpret information in addition to basic computer literacy.
If you do not have these skills, we recommend attending ICT10115 Certificate I in Information, Digital Media and Technology – Computer Basics.

How You Will Be Assessed

All assessment takes place in class through a number of practical activities. Assessment is only required for those wishing to receive a Statement of Attainment.

At the completion of this program you can move on to intermediate level courses in keyboarding speed and accuracy or alternatively other basic or intermediate courses covering computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
This Develop Keyboard Skills course provides a credit towards BSB20115 Certificate II in Business.
