Video Photography DSLR – Sydney Course

The introduction of video capability to the Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) from around 2008 has spurned a whole new industry in professional and independent film making.

Take your use of the DSLR camera to the next level by understanding its video capabilities. Topics covered include: understanding and setting the camera for optimum results, proper camera handling for video production, tripods and filters, auto and manual focus, composition and timing, editing and completion.

Course Outline

In this course you will gain:

  • Understanding and setting the camera controls for optimum results
  • Proper camera handling for video production
  • Use of Tripods and filters
  • Auto and manual focus
  • Composition and sequence timing
  • Editing in camera and post production completion on the PC

This will be a hands on practical course so participants will need to bring their own DSLR . Practical assignments will be set.

Course Outcome

To come and have fun exploring photography. At the end of the course, you will be able to take a range of good photos using the camera controls best suited to your subjects.
