Yoga for Your Body – Sydney Course

Remote learning options now available

Everybody is unique, and every ‘body’ is unique!

Yoga isn’t about how you look or what poses you can do. It’s about knowing your body as it is in the present moment, and how it moves and feels.

Yoga provides tools to learn about ourselves—our bodies, our minds, our breath—and how to mindfully move our bodies to help release stress and calm the mind.

The style of yoga in this course is gentle and meditative and suitable for all levels of yoga experience. This class is suitable for the complete beginner – no previous experience of yoga or meditation is necessary.

In this course you will:

  • Experience different yoga practices, including Asana and Pranayama. You will learn poses and movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation and meditation techniques
  • Explore ways to adapt these practices for your needs or use alternative practices that better suit your needs
  • Develop a deeper connection to your body and mind

Come to the mat as you are now, experience a gentle style of yoga, and discover how to make yoga work for you.

Remote learning for this course is at scheduled class times and sessions. It could include:

  • Livestream video classes online;
  • Interaction with your tutor and other students during livestream video sessions;
  • Group exercises, group discussion, reading dialogue, written exercises, and games to practice new learned skills in an enjoyable way.
