Disability Programs

Disability Programs
Macquarie Community College disability programs were developed because we believe that choice and quality of life are fundamental rights, not privileges, deserved by all Australians.

For that reason, we have been providing community programs for people with intellectual disabilities for many years. Our leisure and life-skills programs enrich the lives of our clients, providing opportunities for them to develop friendships and enjoy a broad range of experiences that promote participation, maximum independence, and emotional and physical wellbeing.

Amanda told me that she feels more confident and that her course has improved her reading skills. She is now able to apply her knowledge in day-to-day ways. Basil was congratulated by his manager because he has improved his numeracy skills.

Our quality, affordable programs meet the needs of clients living in supported accommodation, those who access disability services within the local community, and disability support organisations.
