Course Overview

Learn how to understand your figure, where to camouflage your imperfections and how to improve your silhouette with Fashion Styling – Your Perfect Silhouette! During this course, you will gain invaluable insights into understanding your figure and your best clothing styles.

Using a computer assisted figure and style analysis program, you will go home with a personalised ‘Rapt in Style’ computer printout. This will be supported by a 92 page illustrated workbook covering all aspects of fashion and clothing details, as well as shoes, jewellery, glasses, fashion identity, wardrobe planning and clothing selections.

Course outcome

  • A computer assisted figure and style analysis programme that uses individual body measurements to produce a personalised Rapt in Style computer printout which is used in conjunction with the Rapt in Style workbook. Students will learn the importance of both horizontal and vertical body proportions in determining the clothing styles and details that best suit their figure. These, along with the principles and elements of design, will be used to identify and discuss clothing appropriate for their body type in the Rapt in Style workbook.

This level is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior knowledge.

  • Please wear non bulky clothing on the day.

Other information

  • Participants require the Rapt in Style workbook. Please bring $40.00 which is payable to the tutor at the first lesson.
  • Please note: This course focuses on female fashion only.
