Learn to Massage – Sydney Course

This one day Learn to Massage workshop will illustrate the beneficial ways in which massage can proactively combat common ailments, relieve stress, dissolve muscle tension and improve circulation. The course will also cover massage therapy, basic anatomy, stretching, strengthening and flexibilty exercises and postural anaylsis.

By the end of this workshop, students will have an understanding of how to perform basic massage techniques and incorporate a range of techniques to provide a full body massage to family and friends.

Course Outline

This workshop covers massage therapy and basic anatomy.

Topics include:

  • Basic anatomy
  • Postural analysis
  • Massage techniques
  • Stretching, strengthening and flexibilty exercises

Course Outcome

  • Students can expect to gain an understanding of how to perform basic massage techniques and incorporate a range of techniques to provide full body massage for family and friends.
  • Personal feedback relevant to each student will be provided.

What to Bring

  • Participants should wear light, comfortable clothing and bring a towel, water.

  • Course notes will be emailed to students at conclusion of session

  • No prior knowledge required
  • Participants will need to complete a health screening form on arrival
