Course Overview
Begin a journey of self discovery in this practical Introduction to Meditation course for people of all levels. Counter the effects of modern day stress on your health and wellbeing by learning deep body relaxation techniques, a proven method for helping to counter stress related diseases and one of the antidotes to the flight-or-fight response.
We will engage in practical versions of zen meditation which fit into your lifestyle, rather than the other way around – making it an achievable goal. Guided creative visualisations will empower you to become the master of your own thoughts and experience more optimism in your daily life.
This meditation course is a practice which is not affiliated with any particular religion but is simply a method of learning the art of being in the present moment. You will learn relaxation and mindfulness techniques to improve your ability to deal with stress and anxiety, allowing a state of wholeness to create a more fulfilling, focused and creative way of life.
