Course Outcome
- Students will gain the confidence, skills and knowledge in upholstery techniques – so that they are able to complete any small projects at home.
Important Information
- This course is for small jobs such as stools, chairs, not large jobs like lounge suites. Please do not bring large items.
- Bring your old chairs or stools, modern or antique.
- Additional costs may be incurred for purchase of materials etc. - as arranged by tutor. Any extra costs are paid direct to tutor.
- There are no facilities at the school to store items.
What to Bring
- Small hammer
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Screw driver (plain and Phillips)
- Staple gun (please discuss with tutor at class prior to purchasing staple gun — to make sure you purchase the correct one for your particular needs)
- Blanket and sheet to cover table
- Small piece of furniture to work on (easy to carry)
Delivery Mode
- Class is held in a large room, using flat tables
- Class is a mixture of practical work and demonstration
