Course Overview

Join us to learn what it takes to make your own Silver Jewellery in this creative and crafty workshop,

Tailored for complete beginners, this practical course introduces you to traditional jewellery making techniques, including saw-piercing, drilling, annealing, ring making, polishing, and soldering. Guided by experienced tutors, you will have the opportunity to bring your unique designs to life while gaining hands-on experience in crafting exquisite pieces.

Throughout the workshop, you will create a pendant from brass and a textured ring from sterling silver, providing you with tangible results and a foundation in essential jewelry-making skills.

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This level is for the complete beginner and requires no prior knowledge. It is also suitable for those who may already have some previous jewellery or metal work skills.

What you need to provide

  • Pen and pad
  • Fine point permanent marker such as a fine point Sharpie
  • $55 materials fee – payable to tutor at beginning of session
  • Fabric apron – not plastic
  • Hair tie (if you have long hair)
  • Reading/close work glasses if you use them
  • Lunch, drink

Other information

  • Please wear closed- in shoes – and keep long hair tied back.
  • Material cost – $55 payable to tutor at class.

  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details
