Course Overview
Discover the relaxing and creative art of Zentangle in this beginner-friendly workshop where simple pen strokes and structured patterns are transformed into intricate designs and beautiful three-dimensional festive ornaments.
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn approach to pattern drawing that encourages you to focus on each line and shape as you create. There are no mistakes to erase and no pressure to produce a perfect drawing. Instead, you will work step by step with repeatable patterns while developing confidence in your own creativity.
Guided by a Certified Zentangle Teacher, you will learn core Zentangle techniques before taking your designs from the page into three-dimensional art. You will explore line work, pattern, shading and metallic accents, then apply your designs to folded paper stars to create your own decorative Zentangle ornaments.
Perfect for complete beginners, this hands-on Zentangle workshop requires no previous drawing or artistic experience. Whether you are looking for a relaxing creative activity, want to explore mindful drawing or would simply enjoy making something beautiful by hand, the workshop provides a welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace.
Your completed three-dimensional Zentangle star ornaments can be used as festive decorations, displayed in your home or given as handmade gifts.
