Self-Care Practices for Beginners

Course Overview

Take time to reconnect with yourself through this short course designed to help you develop a personalised daily self-care practice using mindfulness, meditation, and modern Qigong. Drawing on ancient wisdom and adapted for modern life, these simple yet powerful practices promote wellbeing, balance, and inner peace.

Through guided sessions, you’ll learn grounding techniques, breathwork, sensory awareness, and relaxation strategies that support physical, mental, and emotional health. Scientific studies suggest that regular practice of mindfulness and meditation can reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Modern Qigong blends gentle movement with intention and breath, helping to align the mind, body, and spirit. You’ll also explore the Four Immeasurable Tenets and the Nine Pillars of Mindfulness to deepen your understanding of inner peace and interconnectedness.

Whether you’re completely new to these practices or looking to deepen an existing routine, this course offers a supportive and calming space to cultivate your self-care journey.

Nothing is required—just bring a willingness to explore, reflect, and reconnect.
