Microsoft 365 Copilot in Action – Masterclass

Course Overview

Learn how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot as a practical AI assistant for everyday work in this hands-on Microsoft Copilot masterclass. Designed for beginners, job seekers, career changers and business users, this course goes beyond basic AI prompting and shows you how to use Copilot inside familiar Microsoft Office applications to create real workplace content more efficiently.

Through a practical, story-led business scenario, you will use Microsoft 365 Copilot to plan a company retreat and develop a convincing pitch for CEO approval. Along the way, you will learn how to write effective prompts, research and compare ideas, draft professional emails, create a business case in Word, develop a simple budget in Excel, generate images and infographics, and build a polished PowerPoint presentation.

This Microsoft 365 Copilot training focuses on practical workplace skills rather than technical theory. You will learn how Copilot can help you overcome the blank page, summarise information, improve your writing, organise ideas, save time and produce professional content with greater confidence.

No previous AI or Copilot experience is required. However, participants should already have basic Microsoft Office skills and be comfortable working with files, folders and common desktop applications.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into everyday work, knowing how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot effectively can support productivity, employability and career development across a wide range of roles.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney, including Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
