Course Overview
Learn how to communicate confidently using email with our Send and Receive Emails workshop.
Email is one of the most useful tools for staying connected in today’s digital world. It can help you keep in touch with family and friends, receive bills and receipts, manage appointments, communicate with organisations and access a wide range of online services.
This practical workshop is designed specifically for seniors who would like to learn the basics of email or build confidence using an existing email account. Whether you’ve never used email before or would like a better understanding of how it works, this course will guide you step by step through the essential skills.
You’ll learn how to create and access an email account, read and send messages, reply to and forward emails, attach photos and documents, and organise your inbox. You’ll also learn how to recognise spam and suspicious emails so you can use email more safely and confidently.
Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll develop practical skills you can use immediately in everyday life.
This workshop is designed to be relaxed, supportive and beginner-friendly, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practise new skills at your own pace.
