Course outline:

In this workshop, you will learn the following:

  • Perfect Pizza Dough:Learn the essential techniques and methods to create soft, stretchy pizza dough that bakes to golden brown perfection
  • Delicious Toppings:Enjoy a variety of toppings to satisfy every palate – from the classic Margherita to contemporary twists using modern ingredients
  • Art of Calzone:Witness the magic of creating calzones, the perfect enclosed pockets of flavour, as we show you how to expertly fill and fold them
  • Italian Salads:No pizza feast is complete without the perfect salad. You’ll learn to prepare an Italian salad that shines with fresh ingredients and the perfect dressing, along with tips to keep them crisp and flavourful, perfectly complementing your pizza

Course outcome

By the end of the course you will know how to make your own pizza dough from scratch:

  • The correct technique for proofing, fermenting, stretching and rolling the dough before selecting your toppings
  • How to cook pizza, both in a pizza oven and home kitchen oven to achieve the best results
  • How to make and fold amazing calzone
  • How to prepare two delicious Italian salads to complement your pizzas
  • Cooking and storing methods
  • The best methods for freezing and storing your pizza dough and bases

No prior experience is needed, this class is perfect for beginners and Italian food lovers!

What you need to provide:

  • You'll receive everything you need for the class, including your recipes, ingredients, equipment, and aprons to wear during the class. All ingredients, equipment, and packaging will be supplied.

  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.
