In this course, you will learn:

  • Introduce yourself and others (name, nationality, age, profession)
  • Ask and answer basic personal questions
  • Use common greetings and polite expressions (hello, goodbye, please, thank you)
  • Talk about your hobbies and interests
  • Ask for and understand telephone numbers, email addresses and addresses
  • Talk about days of the week, months and seasons of the year
  • Tell and ask the time
  • Use numbers for prices, dates, times and counting
  • Order food and drinks at cafés, bars and restaurants
  • Recognise and name common foods and drinks
  • Book a hotel room or check in at a reception desk
  • Ask for and give directions in a city (banks, museums, post office, etc.)
  • Describe places and people in simple terms
  • Use key travel-related vocabulary (airport, train station, transport, luggage, etc.)
  • Understand basic signs and public notices in Spanish
  • Express preferences and make simple requests or inquiries
  • Handle simple everyday situations with confidence during your trip
  • Gain cultural insights and travel tips relevant to Spanish-speaking countries
  • Navigate everyday travel situations in Spanish with greater ease and confidence

There are no essential prerequisites for attending this Spanish for Travel course. It is designed for complete beginners and those with little to no prior knowledge of Spanish.

How to Enrol

Step 1 - Choose Your Course

  • Select the non-accredited short course you are interested in.
  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details

  • You will receive a course reminder email a day before your class begins.
  • For Online Zoom classes, a Zoom link and password will be emailed the day before class. Use the same link and password for subsequent sessions if applicable.
