Course Overview
Enjoy a day of exploration and natural beauty with long-time bushwalking guide Greg Williams, who has been leading walks around Sydney for nearly 40 years. This bushwalk can be booked individually or as part of the Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package, which includes four scenic walks at a discounted rate.
This terms highlight takes you to the picturesque Coasters Retreat and The Basin, a naturally enclosed lagoon with a rich maritime history. Once a safe harbour for coastal trading ships and early settlers, this area still holds the charm of its past, with historic terraces, sandstone features, and panoramic lookout points.
Wander through beautiful bushland to discover sandy beaches, majestic rock formations, and stunning views. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of local wildlife and learn about the area's fascinating heritage. Don’t forget your swimmers if the weathers warm. The Basin is a great spot for a refreshing dip. Bring a camera to capture the days highlights.
To finish the day, we will return to Terrey Hills Tavern for optional end-of-term drinks with your fellow walkers.
