Bushwalk 4 – Pindar Cave: A Wilderness Journey

Course Overview

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. You can book each bushwalk individually or book the‘Bushwalking – Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package’which includes all four bushwalks at a discounted price.

The Pindar Wilderness in Brisbane Water National Park is accessible only from Wondabyne Station. In the heart of this wilderness is Pindar Cave – a huge sandstone overhang which was once used by Aborigines as a camping place. In the middle of this arid land, expect to find a deep-water hole and waterfall with beautiful mossy grottos and rain forest trees. Other features of this journey include, from one of the high points, a magnificent view of the Hawkesbury River and Dangar Island which sits majestically just a stone throw away from Brooklyn.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

A Course Information Guide regarding the bushwalk will be provided beforehand. Please consult the Course Information Guide prior to the walk for comprehensive information on meeting places, start times, travel directions and more.
