Learn to Massage

Course Overview

This one day Learn to Massage workshop will illustrate the beneficial ways in which massage can proactively combat common ailments, relieve stress, dissolve muscle tension and improve circulation.

We will cover massage therapy, basic anatomy, stretching, strengthening and flexibility exercises and postural analysis. This is a great gift idea for a partner or friend – come along and learn together!

By the end of this workshop, students will have an understanding of how to perform basic massage techniques and incorporate a range of techniques to provide a full body massage to family and friends.

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This level is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior knowledge. Participants will need to complete a health screening form on arrival

What you need to provide

  • Participants should wear light, comfortable clothing and bring a towel, water.

Anyone 18 years or older may enrol into our non-accredited short courses by: • choosing the course you are interested in and; • finding a day and time that is suitable.

Step 2

Step 3

Once your enrolment has been processed, you will receive the following emails: • Enrolment confirmation: you will receive this immediately after your enrolment has been processed. Please check and read your Terms and conditions. • Tax invoice: the payer of your enrolment will receive this immediately after your enrolment has been processed. • Course reminder: you will receive a reminder the day prior to your class commencement. • Zoom link (for remote zoom classes only): you will receive a Zoom link and password the day prior to class commencement. If your course has multiple sessions, use the same link and password to access each session.
