Personal care assistants provide personalised physical and emotional support and companionship to elderly people and people living with disabilities. This can be in the context of care facilities, private homes and community groups.

A growing industry, with many opportunities for employment, career roles may include:

Structured work placements give you on-the-job training and the chance to develop networks within the industry for ongoing employment.

Please note that the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support now replaces the superseded Certificate III courses in Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care. The CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support now replaces the superseded Certificate IV courses in Aged Care and Community Care.

NSW Government Smart and Skilled subsidies are available for most of our accredited courses. We offer training tailored to you or your workplace in accordance with the training packages, including English Language support.
