Bushwalk 1 – Sphinx Circuit – Sunday 29 July – Sydney Course

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. You can book each bushwalk individually or book the 'Bushwalking – Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package' which includes all four bushwalks at a discounted price.

Bushwalk 1 – Sphinx Circuit is a local walk which traces areas of Aboriginal habitat. During the hike, you can enjoy many scenic views of the local waterway and grand sandstone rock architecture. You will also visit a 70 year old scale replica of the Sphinx and the Pyramids. These were carved out of sandstone by Private William Shirley, a patient at Lady Davidson Hospital, who created the work as a memorial to his comrades.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

Macquarie Community College also operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Carlingford, Eastwood, Chatswood, Blacktown, Richmond and many more. Enrol online today or call us to have a chat about your options.
