Bushwalk 3 - Bass Point - Sydney Course

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. You can book each bushwalk individually or book the 'Bushwalking - Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package' which includes all four bushwalks at a discounted price.

This walk undoubtedly traces footsteps of the many Aboriginal people that once inhabited this land. Discover the beautiful sandy beaches, rugged coast line and secluded coves. As this walk keeps mostly to the seaside, there are extensive views up and down the coast. Our bushwalk takes in the picturesque shoreline of the Minnamurra River - Minnamurra, meaning 'Plenty of Fish' in the local Aboriginal language. It is a beautiful river that has wound its way down the Illawarra escarpment through the rainforest valleys to the coast. Further along the walk we visit the isolated Bushrangers Bay which is an aquatic reserve that protects the abundant plant and sea life.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

A Course Information Guide regarding the bushwalk will be provided beforehand. Please consult the Course Information Guide prior to the walk for comprehensive information on meeting places, start times, travel directions and more.

Macquarie Community College also operates from a range of venues across North and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Carlingford, Chatswood, Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Richmond and many more. Enrol today!
