Bushwalk 3 - GNW: Mount Ku-ring-gai to Berowra

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. You can book each bushwalk individually or book the 'Bushwalking - Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package' which includes all four bushwalks at a discounted price.

Bushwalk 3 - GNW (Great North Walk): GNW: Mount Ku-ring-gai to Berowra

The Great North Walk Series: Continuing our journey through the Berowra Valley we slowly descend the beautiful Lyrebird Valley, a lush damp gully with an almost rainforest feel making it the ideal place for some spectacular photography. The valley hosts an array of picturesque sandstone architecture and caves while at the end of the valley we venture along a boardwalk through a Salt Marsh. There are plentiful Aboriginal shell middens and a large rock lookout and cave used by the indigenous people of the area.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across northern and western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Mt Druitt, Richmond and Ryde. Enrol today or enquire now!
