Bushwalking – Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package

Course Overview

Escape to the great outdoors with our resident bushwalking guide, Greg Williams, who has been leading bushwalks around Sydney for over 33 years. Each term, Greg will take you on four magnificent hikes around the Sydney and Greater Sydney Basin.

Why not add some adventure to your life and reward yourself with bush walks where you can explore the great Australian outdoors?

Our bushwalks will take you from delightful and attractive babbling brooks, to hilltops with astounding panoramic views. Walk through magnificent high forests, swamp forests, littoral rainforests, and see attractive wildflowers, waterfalls and rock pools.

Come with us as we take on some of the most unique journeys in the forested bushland areas of Sydney and beyond. The bushwalks being presented this term vary from introductory, easy medium to moderate and moderately challenging, some with slight technical challenges. Take your pick of the walks or work your way through the four different experiences that we have on offer.

The Bushwalking – Sunday Adventure Bushwalks Package includes all bushwalks for this term at a discounted price. You can also book each bushwalk individually.

Each walking trail is suitable for most fitness levels with various half day and full day bushwalks available. Our bushwalks are tailor made for Macquarie Community College giving you a variety of walks from which to choose and are usually different every term – you’ll probably never walk the same trail twice!

During our bushwalks you’ll experience nature’s feel good endorphins whilst enjoying secluded habitats, historic sites with artefacts, lush wet tree lined gullies with waterfalls and cascading brooks with isolated freshwater pools. You’ll have opportunities to spot native animals and see majestic mountains from atop in awe of inspiring lookouts.

All bushwalks have morning tea provided with tea, coffee and delicious chocolate treats available.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
