“A different language gives you a different vision of life,” says Italian film director and screenwriter Federico Fellini. This is so true. When you learn a new language, you learn new ways of expressing yourself and open doorways into new cultures.

People learn another language for many other reasons. It may be to gain a greater appreciation of your heritage, speak with friends from other countries, communicate with overseas business contacts, or simply enjoy the intellectual stimulation of learning another way of communicating.
