Join us for a fun and interactive Crochet workshop where you will learn to craft a flower!

Tailored for beginners, this workshop is ideal for those who are just starting their crochet journey. While not mandatory, having a basic understanding of how to hold a crochet hook and make chains will be beneficial. Additionally, individuals with some prior knowledge and experience in crochet can use this workshop to revise and enhance their skills.

What you will learn

Course outline

In this course, you will learn:

  • Crochet hooks and sizes
  • How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
  • How to start a chain
  • Techniques of single, half double, double, triple crochet stitches
  • Double crochet stitches
  • Pattern ‘v’ stitches
  • How to identify and count stitches
  • How to assemble/finish off your piece – assembling the flower, leaves and sepal together into the vase

Course outcome

By the end of this crochet workshop, you will be become confident in the following:

  • How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
  • How to start a chain, single, half double, double, triple stitches
  • Assembly techniques
  • Applying crochet skills and techniques on a new project.

Most importantly, you will have created your very own flower in a vase to take home or give as a gift.

Entry requirements

This workshop is designed for beginners, however it is desirable if you have some knowledge of crochet, such as how to hold a crochet hook and make chains.

Workshop materials will be provided (participants will pay separately if they wish to buy the crochet hook they use)

Anyone 18 years or older may enrol into our non-accredited short courses by: • choosing the course you are interested in and; • finding a day and time that is suitable.

Step 2

After selecting your course and class. click ‘’Enrol Now’’ and enter your details. • You will be asked to verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address. • Once you have returned to the enrolment page you will proceed through the secure checkout and payment process. • Alternatively, you can call customer service on 1300 845 888. Step 3

Once your enrolment has been processed, you will receive the following emails: • Enrolment confirmation: you will receive this immediately after your enrolment has been processed.
