While not mandatory, having a basic understanding of how to hold a crochet hook and make chains will be beneficial. Additionally, individuals with some prior knowledge and experience in crochet can use this workshop to revise and enhance their skills.

What you will learn
Course outline
In this course, you will learn:
- Crochet hooks and sizes
- How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
- How to start a chain
- Techniques of single, half double, double, triple crochet stitches
- Double crochet stitches
- Pattern ‘v’ stitches
- How to identify and count stitches
- How to assemble/finish off your piece – assembling the flower, leaves and sepal together into the vase
Course outcome
By the end of this crochet workshop, you will be become confident in the following:
- How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
- How to start a chain, single, half double, double, triple stitches
- Assembly techniques
- Applying crochet skills and techniques on a new project.
Most importantly, you will have created your very own flower in a vase to take home or give as a gift.

This workshop is designed for beginners, however it is desirable if you have some knowledge of crochet, such as how to hold a crochet hook and make chains.
