Tunisian Crochet – Make a Sampler Bag

Course Overview

Crochet is one of the oldest crafts in the world, and it’s regarded these days as a relaxing form of ‘mental yoga’. This beginners level course will introduce you to the basics of Tunisian Crochet, plus the many benefits to health and wellbeing from this calming and practical craft.

Tunisian Crochet is considered easier than standard crochet because of the different hook that is used and the various techniques involved. The course is designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any experience – just an open mind to have fun learning a new skill.

We will teach you the basics starting from how to hold the hook and yarn, how to start a chain, and then progress to the basic stitches and reading patterns.

Please note: A starter kit is supplied by the tutor and included in the course fee.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
