Course Overview
Celtic Zoomorphic Art is a style that intertwines living beings (such as animals, birds, insects, and plants) with Celtic Knots and Spirals.
You will be taken step-by-step through the process of drawing, designing, and painting your own piece of Celtic Zoomorphic Art with birds. Starting with how to draw your chosen bird, then designing and simplifying your drawing to a clean monoline design. From that point we work through how to repeat this design, intertwining them together with Celtic knots and spirals.
To complete your piece of art we will be applying colour using your favourite colour media. The teacher will demonstrate with paint and fine brushes.
You will need a basic understanding and experience of drawing Celtic knots and spirals.
Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
