Tech Savvy Seniors – Podcasts and Audiobooks

Course Overview

Are you going on a long trip and want to listen to a book? Or would you like to listen to a book while you’re in the house or in the garden? Perhaps your eyes get tired if you read for a long time and you wish someone else would read the book for you? Then an audiobook is probably better for you!

But what is an audiobook? Audiobooks are a ‘talking’ book – someone (often famous) reading the book for you to listen to.

Ever wanted to listen to a radio show that you missed, or would you like to share a show with a friend, or find new radio shows to listen to? And listen to them – anytime? Anywhere? Then you would love a podcast!

A podcast is like listening to a pre-recorded radio show which you can access whenever you want.

This podcasts and audiobooks course will cover both topics and show you how you can listen to a radio show or a talking book on your smart device!

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
