Our experienced tutor will teach you to combine fresh flowers with resilient succulents, perfect for displaying on your outdoor tables or enhancing the beauty of your home. All the materials, including the fresh flowers and succulents, are sourced from the flower markets, ensuring you have the finest elements to work with.

In addition to flower arrangement skills, you’ll be shown creative ideas for decorating your dining table, ensuring it’s ready for the inviting and vibrant atmosphere of a summer BBQ.

By the end of the class, you will have learnt specific floristry skills and flower arrangement techniques related to fresh flowers and succulents. This course is suitable for beginners or for those wanting to improve their existing skills.

  • Elements of arrangement and colour coordination

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for all levels. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those students who have already completed the Introduction to Flower Arrangement course or higher levels.

What you need to provide

The course fee includes the flowers for the first lesson which is payable to the tutor, to cover the cost of the first lesson’s flowers.

Please bring:
  • $50 for subsequent lessons (this will be for all flowers and sundries)
  • Secateurs
  • Floral scissors
  • Rose stripper

Please note: The teacher has florist scissors ($6) and rose strippers ($4) if you want to purchase them.

You will be provided with:

  • Fresh flowers (details confirmed each week)

Step 1 - Choose Your Course

  • Select the non-accredited short course you are interested in.
  • Find a day and time that suits your schedule.

Note: Enrolment is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Step 2 - Enrol and Verify

  • Click ‘Enrol Now’ after selecting your course and schedule.
  • Enter your details on the enrolment page.
  • Verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address.
  • Complete the secure checkout and payment process.

Step 3 - Receive Your Enrolment Details

  • For Online Zoom classes, a Zoom link and password will be emailed the day before class. Use the same link and password for subsequent sessions if applicable.
