Beginners are welcome, as well as those who have already completed other Flower Arrangement courses. It will give you opportunities to broaden your experience with flowers.

What you will learn

Course outline

In this course you will learn:

  • Which tropical flowers to put in your home
  • How to arrange glass vases using modern and classic techniques
  • Tips and techniques such as how to cut and care for your flowers
  • Floral philosophy, such as colour, texture and positioning

Course outcome

By the end of the course you will:

  • Be able to care for your flowers
  • Be able to arrange flowers in different containers
  • Know what equipment to use when arranging flowers
  • Know how to combine creativity with floristry technical skills

What you need to know

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for all levels. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those students who have already completed the Introduction to Flower Arrangement course or higher levels.

What you need to provide

The course fee includes the flowers for the first lesson. payable to the tutor, to cover the cost of the first lesson’s flowers.

Please bring:
  • $40 for subsequent lessons (this will be for all flowers and sundries)
  • Pen and notepad
  • Secateurs or florist scissors

Please note: The teacher has florist scissors ($6) and rose strippers ($4) if you want to purchase them.

You will be provided with:

  • Fresh flowers (details confirmed each week)

Step 1

Anyone 18 years or older may enrol into our non-accredited short courses by: • choosing the course you are interested in and; • finding a day and time that is suitable.

Step 2

After selecting your course and class. click ‘’Enrol Now’’ and enter your details. • You will be asked to verify your email through a secure link sent to your email address. • Once you have returned to the enrolment page you will proceed through the secure checkout and payment process. • Alternatively, you can call customer service on 1300 845 888. Step 3

Once your enrolment has been processed, you will receive the following emails: • Enrolment confirmation: you will receive this immediately after your enrolment has been processed. Please check and read your Terms and conditions. • Tax invoice: the payer of your enrolment will receive this immediately after your enrolment has been processed. • Course reminder: you will receive a reminder the day prior to your class commencement. • Zoom link (for remote zoom classes only): you will receive a Zoom link and password the day prior to class commencement. If your course has multiple sessions, use the same link and password to access each session.
