Course Overview
Dive into the world of vibrant colors and soft textures with Drawing with Pastels, where you will learn to produce pictures with rich colours and soft textures with pastels!
Soft chalk pastels are a versatile medium for both bold and delicate styles of art. Their brilliant colours glow on the textured, coloured papers used by pastel artists.
Pastels can be used to draw in a linear way with the point or on the side like a brush for areas of colour, blending and glazing, without the need to mix with paint. Their forgiving nature makes them easy to rework. Being able to get quick results makes pastels very satisfying and great fun to use.
You will learn a variety of pastel techniques, understand composition and perspective as well as the logic of colour and tone.
This course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of drawing. Join us today and master the unique artistry of drawing with pastels!
